The State and University Library Hamburg congratulates from state library to state library and from partner city to partner city. In honor of the Russian National Library, we have digitized several historical maps of St. Petersburg and produced a congratulatory video. His Heiligenstadt Testament is one of the most important collection items of the State and University Library Hamburg. With his universal music we would like to congratulate the Russian National Library on its 225th birthday.<\/p>\n<p>Hamburg and St. Petersburg are the most important ports in their countries. Since the foundation of St. Petersburg, they have been connected by many contacts in the fields of business, science, culture and music. The copperplate engraving was made in Hamburg by Jonas Haas and highlights 100 important places in the city, which are explained in the extensive legend at the bottom of the map.<\/p>\n<p> \u00a0 <\/p>\n<p> \u00a0 <\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a name=\"de\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Die Russische Nationalbibliothek in St. Petersburg feiert in diesem Jahr ihren 225.
