Das Segelschulschiff “Shabab Oman<\/a>” hat am 26. Juni 2013 erstmals in Hamburg angelegt (aktuelle Position<\/a> des Schiffes laut Schiffsradar von hamburg.de) und kann am 27. und 28. Juni besichtigt werden (Information<\/a>). <\/p>\n Aus diesem Anlass zeigt die Bibliothek des Asien-Afrika-Instituts<\/a> eine Auswahl von B\u00fcchern \u00fcber die Geschichte und Kultur von Oman<\/a>. Dazu geh\u00f6rt Landeskundliches von Forschungsreisenden wie Ibn Battuta, Evliya \u04aaelebi und Carsten Niebuhr.
